Ceiling repairs start next week
From next Monday, 27 April to 7 May 2015, road surface repairs are planned in the city of Chemnitz using surface treatments. This involves spraying bitumen emulsion onto the carriageway and immediately chipping it off. The city of Chemnitz is investing a total of around 150,000 euros in these measures.
A prerequisite for the work is compliance with the ordered stopping restrictions for the day of installation. Once the surface treatment has been carried out, the road can be driven on immediately. After a running-in period of approx. 10-14 days, temporary no-stopping signs will be put upagain to remove the excess chippings.
