Ceiling repair on Hainstraße between Palmstraße and Forststraße completed
The roadworks in the Hainstraße section were completed on schedule today. The resurfacing of Hainstraße extended from the Hainstraße/Palmstraße junction to the junction with Forststraße over a length of approx. 250 metres. In addition to the renewal of the binder and surface course, the road maintenance measure also included the necessary repair of the road drainage systems as well as adaptation work on the side surfaces and fixtures.
As part of this construction measure, a new bus stop "Forststraße" was also installed between Forststraße and Dresdner Straße on the right-hand landward edge of the carriageway. The measure was started on 3 September 2012. The construction costs totalled around 105,000 euros. STRABAG AG, Wilkau-Haßlau, was commissioned to carry out the construction work.
