What is this? What is that? What's the point? - There are so many questions about the Capital of Culture bid, which are now answered in detail on 36 magazine pages. The magazine has a print run of 15,000 copies.

Project manager Ferenc Csák explains, for example, why Chemnitz has every chance with its application, especially against competitors such as Dresden. Meanwhile, organisers from former European Capitals of Culture describe what their cities have actually achieved. And, of course, there is also a short review of one year of successful micro-project funding in Chemnitz. But 25 of the city's movers and shakers also have their say - they tell us what they expect from the application process. We also list all sorts of good reasons why it is worth going on a discovery tour in the recently established Chemnitz cultural region. Finally, we will of course introduce you to the Capital of Culture team as well as all our voluntary supporters. And with this magazine, we are also launching a great participation project for the city, with which we want to turn squares or unused areas in the neighbourhood into new meeting places.

The free magazine is now available from the Capital of Culture Office, all town halls in the city, the TIETZ, Chemnitz theatres, the tourist information office, the CVAG mobility centre, Chemnitz Hospital, the Stadthalle, the GGG residential centre and the WiC residential shops.
