Capital of Culture 2025 Strategy Committee established

At its meeting today, the City Council formed a Capital of Culture 2025 Strategy Committee. The Strategy Committee consists of the same number of members as there are political groups represented on the City Council and Lord Mayor Sven Schulze as Chairman. The committee members and one deputy each were elected by the City Council.

The Strategy Committee is tasked with advising on matters relating to the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 project and acting as a link between the City Council, Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 GmbH and the City of Chemnitz.
