Cancellation of the fair on 2 August
After the funfair planned for 5 July also had to be cancelled due to the pandemic situation, the funfair around the town hall planned for Monday, 2 August, cannot take place again.
The current legal ordinance does allow funfairs to be held. However, this is associated with considerable requirements (such as a hygiene concept, contact tracing, etc.), especially for fairs with an expected number of visitors of more than 1,000. Access controls to ensure the maximum number of visitors are difficult to implement for the funfair and do not correspond to the desired character of the event.
In addition, the area is only available to a limited extent due to the wine village.
It is therefore still not possible to hold the fair in organisational and economic terms.
