Can my car talk to the traffic lights? Green light for the mobility of the future
Adult education centre: Online lecture on the mobility of the future on 7 October, 7 to 8.30 p.m.
On Thursday, 7 October, from 7 to 8.30 pm, the adult education centre is inviting interested parties to an online discussion about the mobility of the future. Will cars communicate with traffic lights and other road users in the future? How can artificial intelligence contribute to a changed traffic flow?
Participation is free. Registration is possible until midnight on the day before the event at www.vhs-chemnitz.de or 0371 488-4343. An access link will then be sent by email.
The online discussion with experts will focus on the question: How will we be mobile? Currently, congested and poor roads, missing bridges, overloaded buses and trains and poorly developed cycle paths are dominating the debate. But what does the future look like? Can data and artificial intelligence ensure a dynamically optimised traffic flow? What do concepts such as "smart traffic" or "smart streets" mean? How responsible is the handling of personal mobility data? How can costs and emissions be reduced?
The event invites you to discuss the interaction between people and technology.
The online discussion is part of the "Stadt I Land I Datenfluss" series organised by the German Adult Education Association.
