Campaign invites you to Chemnitz: "We were still missing you"
The city marketing campaign "The city is me" has one more campaign. The new fishing campaign "You were still missing" uses cheeky postcard motifs to appeal to young people in particular. The aim is to attract unconventional minds, creative weirdos, super-smart people, tacklers, high-flyers and non-slackers to Chemnitz. Whether it's a smart career, a little house on the outskirts of the city or a family of their own - anything is possible in Chemnitz if you haven't finished planning your life yet.
The campaign is kindly supported by Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts-Gesellschaft mbH (GGG). Simone Kalew, Managing Director of GGG, knows the advantages of the city and knows why Chemnitz is attractive to young people: "Chemnitz has contributed to its absolutely positive development in recent years, above all with its stable economic situation. Chemnitz is a city where you can live well. There are good jobs, the cost of living is low, there is a good infrastructure, an excellent university and - of course - nice flats. Our multi-million investments in the existing housing stock contribute to this. We want to pass this on as a message to young people and appeal to them individually."
In addition to the cosmonaut motif, which was already available for this year's Cosmonaut Festival, two further motifs complete the postcard series, which is suitable for sending to potential Neuchemnitz residents as well as for collecting.
All three postcards will be on display for the first time at the city festival at various traders and stands. They can also be found in Chemnitz town halls, citizen service centres and other institutions in the city. From the end of September, the cards will then be available at 100 locations in discos, bars, pubs, fitness studios, sports centres and petrol stations in Glauchau, Meerane, Waldenburg, Altenburg, Schmölln, Mittweida, Marienberg, Ehrenfriedersdorf, Thalheim, Döbeln, Colditz, Rochlitz, Geithain and Frohburg in the popular City Card stands. The total print run is 10,000 copies.
Anyone interested in the postcards is welcome to contact the press office of the City of Chemnitz: pressestelle(at)stadt-chemnitz.de or 0371 488-1538.
