Call for participation in the JugendKunstTriennale 2024

The Saxon-Bavarian city network's call for entries has begun - works can be submitted at the end of February

The member cities of the Saxon-Bavarian network of cities, Chemnitz, Zwickau, Plauen, Hof, Bayreuth and Marktredwitz, have launched the call for entries for the YouthArtTriennial 2024. The information flyer was also distributed to schools, cultural and youth facilities in Chemnitz.

The organisers are once again hoping for great interest and lively participation from young people in the upcoming edition of the JugendKunstTriennale. Applicants can submit up to two works each for the competition until February 2024. The competition is open to painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and collage as well as sculpture, objects and handicrafts.

In Chemnitz, the competition entries can then be submitted from 27 to 29 February 2024, from 1 pm to 6 pm in the Kultur.Raum in the foyer of the TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20.

The major competition exhibition will be presented in the Freiheitshalle in Hof from 8 June to 6 July 2024. This is the third time that the city of Hof has hosted the JugendKunstTriennale.

The Saxon-Bavarian network of cities has been successfully organising this visual art competition for young people aged 14 to 25 for more than 25 years. The JugendKunstTriennale is the network's largest joint cultural project. More than 4,500 young people have taken part in the project since the competition began in 1998
