Call for entries for the 8th JugendKunstTriennale 2015
Invitation to participate in the traditional art competition of the member cities of the Saxon-Bavarian city network The jury includes the Chemnitz artist Peggy Albrecht
The 8th YouthArtTriennial of the Saxon-Bavarian network of cities is currently being announced to the public. The large competition exhibition will be presented from 17 January to 7 February 2015 in the city library in RW 21 in Bayreuth. But before that happens, the creativity and commitment of young people aged between 14 and 25 from the cities of Chemnitz, Zwickau, Plauen, Hof and Bayreuth and the surrounding area who are interested in art are needed: they are invited to express their thoughts, fantasies and ideas in artistic works and take part in the competition from now until the end of the summer. An expert jury will select the works to be presented in Bayreuth at the beginning of 2015 and will also decide on the prizes. In the age categories 14 to 18 years and 19 to 25 years, for example, four main prizes of 500 euros each will be awarded.
The jury member for Chemnitz is the artist Peggy Albrecht, who herself won a prize in this competition in 1998.
