Amendment of the drainage statutes
At its meeting today, the Chemnitz City Council approved the 2023 business plan for the municipal waste management company prepared by the management in accordance with the Saxon Own Business Ordinance and the operating statutes of the waste management company of the City of Chemnitz (ESC).
The ESC has once again planned an extensive investment package totalling EUR 39 million for 2023. Of this, EUR 29 million is mainly earmarked for the renovation of the sewer network. 7 million is planned to secure the operation of the central sewage treatment plant. These investments are urgently needed to ensure reliable, functional, ecological and economical wastewater disposal and treatment in the city of Chemnitz.
Furthermore, the city council has decided to amend the statutes on public wastewater disposal in the city of Chemnitz (drainage statutes). These amendments are essentially formal adjustments and clarifications.
