Bundestag election - Preliminary final results in constituency 161 Chemnitz

Voter turnout higher than four years ago at 79.06 per cent

Chemnitz has voted: Dr Alexander Gauland (AfD) is the candidate who received the most first votes in constituency 161 Chemnitz with 32.20%. This provisional final result was announced by election officer Ralf Burghart on Sunday evening.

A total of 183,295 people from Chemnitz were eligible to vote. Voter turnout was 79.06 per cent and therefore higher than in 2021 (74.57).

The district electoral committee for constituency 161 Chemnitz will hold its public meeting to determine and establish the final election result for the election to the German Bundestag on Monday, 3 March at 10 a.m. in the town hall, Markt 1, consultation room 118.
