Building refurbishment of the former Borna primary school

At its meeting today, the City Council decided to provide additional funds totalling 650,000 euros.

The additional funds will be used to renovate the prefabricated building previously used by Borna primary school after its move to the building of the former school for the physically disabled at Wittgensdorfer Straße 121a so that it can be made available as an outsourcing property for schools to be renovated in future.

The additional budget of 650,000 euros will be used to furnish specialised classrooms, repair the sanitary, heating and ventilation systems, repair the roof and repair damage to the outdoor facilities, among other things. The additional funds will be provided from additional income from general key allocations. The repairs are expected to begin in autumn 2018 and should take around six months.
