Building mayor provides information on four greening statutes
Press conference: Friday, 28 May, 11 a.m., Chemnitz City Hall, Room 118
Representatives of the media are invited to a press conference tomorrow at 11 a.m. in room 118 of Chemnitz City Hall.
Building Mayor Michael Stötzer and the head of the city planning office will present the four greening bylaws that are to be adopted by the city council on 21 July 2021 and answer questions about them.
These are the bylaws for the greening of façades, roofs, car parks and the prevention of gravel gardens:
- B-020/2021 Statutes of the City of Chemnitz on the greening of façade areas (façade greening statutes)
- B-060/2021 Statutes of the City of Chemnitz on the greening of flat roof areas (roof greening statutes)
- B-061/2021 Statutes of the City of Chemnitz on the design of parking spaces (parking space design statutes)
- B-062/2021 Bylaws of the City of Chemnitz on the design of the ground conditions and surfaces of undeveloped areas of developed properties (bylaws for the prevention of gravel gardens)
The preliminary consultations in the local councils will begin on 31 May with the meeting of the Kleinolbersdorf-Altenhain local council.
In principle, the City of Chemnitz is authorised to issue local bylaws in order to regulate certain aspects that have not been conclusively clarified by law in a binding manner for its urban area. The bylaws will apply to the entire city area.
