On Wednesday, 2 July, from 11 am to 2 pm, girls and young women are invited to a girls' brunch at the Spinnerei, Altchemnitzer Straße 5a. The participants can get to know each other in an open and creative setting, but in a safe space, try out new skills and spend a pleasant time together.
Admission costs 2 euros.
The theme of this year's brunch is "Self-worth, self-image and self-efficacy". The aim is to support the participants in their personal development and offer them a space in which they can network and strengthen each other. In addition to a brunch together, visitors can look forward to various exciting activities.
The varied programme includes yoga, a Wendo taster course and creative workshops on screen printing, jewellery and button making. In addition to the buffet, refreshing smoothies and delicious cocktails will be served in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event is organised by the City of Chemnitz Equal Opportunities Officer, Franziska Herold, and the Chemnitz Working Group for Girls and Young Women. Interested girls and young women can send further questions by e-mail to gleichstellungsstelle(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
