On Sunday, 14 December, from around 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., the landward Brückenstraße between Straße der Nationen and Bahnhofstraße will be closed for safety reasons due to the opening event of TACHELES 2026, the Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony, at the State Museum of Archaeology (SMAC).
Stopping restrictions have also been put in place in this section to keep the road surface clear.
There are also restrictions for pedestrians: the pavement at Stefan-Heym-Platz will be temporarily closed. The police will regulate pedestrian traffic with operational measures.
It is recommended to bypass the closure via Theaterstraße and Bahnhofstraße.
