Botanical-zoological hike in the border region: art-nature-landscape
Hike with the Chemnitz Artists' Association on 17 October, 10 am to 2 pm, Start in Rübenau (Marienberg)
The Environmental Centre and the Chemnitzer Künstlerbund e.V. invite you to a hike led by biologist Kay Meister from the Förderverein Natura Miriquidica e.V. to Rübenau on Saturday, 17 October. The start is 10 am at the Haus der Kammbegegnungen, In der Gasse 3, Marienberg/OT Rübenau.
On this year's 7 km exploration tour, which leads into the border region, the biotope landscapes with their biodiversity will be explored in autumn.
Participation is free of charge. Sturdy walking shoes are required. A herb meal (cost 10 euros) will be offered afterwards. Hikers who would like to arrive on Friday, 16 October, should register at info(at)natura-miriquidica.de. Overnight accommodation is available in the Haus der Kammbegegnungen. The general hygiene rules according to the Corona Protection Ordinance apply.
Background information
The kunst-natur-landschaft series has taken place for many years with the Chemnitz Artists' Association, the Environmental Centre and the Tannenberg artist and conservationist Carl-Heinz Westenburger. Since 2017, the Chemnitz Environmental Centre has continued the traditional hike into the Ore Mountains with the Chemnitz Artists' Association in Rübenau, the largest scattered settlement in eastern Germany with its unique natural features.
