Botanical garden open again
On Monday, 4 May, the Botanical Garden at Leipziger Straße 147 will reopen - subject to the new decision of the state of Saxony on the Corona Protection Ordinance.
From Monday to Sunday, the facility can be visited from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. under certain conditions.
In order to comply with social distancing rules, a maximum of 75 visitors can be in the area at any one time. For this reason, admission checks will be carried out at the main entrance on Leipziger Straße.
In addition, the greenhouses and buildings will remain closed to visitors. The use of playground equipment and the barbecue area is not yet possible.
If there are queues at the entrance, a walk through the neighbouring unfenced natural biotopes of the Botanical Garden in the Crimmitschau Forest is recommended.
