Easter festival in the Botanical Garden

The traditional Easter festival with pony rides, handicrafts, puppet theatre and a violet exhibition will once again take place on Maundy Thursday on the grounds of the Botanical Garden. Food and drink will also be provided.

Which birds can be found in Chemnitz? BirdNET - guided tour
Location: Meeting point in front of the main building, Chemnitz Botanical Garden, Leipziger Straße 147
Admission: free of charge, a donation is requested
Since summer 2024, the voices of all birds in the Botanical Garden have been recorded by a project of Chemnitz University of Technology. With the help of the BirdNET app, birds can be recognised by their voices. The app and the project will be explained. This will be followed by a bird call excursion in the Botanical Garden.
