On Tuesday, 21 April at 5 p.m., the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency invites interested parties to a bird song walk followed by a nature walk. This year, it will take participants to the southern Zeisigwald forest. The meeting point is An der Heideschänke/access to the Zeisigwald. Participation is free of charge.
Jens Börner (Chemnitz Environmental Agency) and Klaus Müller (volunteer nature conservation service) will first familiarise nature-loving participants with the characteristics and songs of the local birdlife. This will be followed by a nature walk in the southern Zeisigwald forest.
In order to be able to observe nature even better, it is advisable to bring binoculars and an identification book. It is also recommended that you wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
