On Sunday, 27 April at 6 a.m., interested parties are invited to the now traditional bird song walk organised by the City of Chemnitz's environmental department. This year, the excursion will once again take place in the Ebersdorf district. The meeting point is at the shopping centre (Netto) at Max- Saupe-Straße 77 and participation is free of charge.
Jens Börner from the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency and nature conservation assistant Klaus Müller will familiarise participants with the characteristics and songs of the local birdlife.
To be able to observe the birds even better, it is advisable to bring binoculars and an identification book. Sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather are also recommended.
