Bird song hike
This year, the traditional bird song hike will take place in the Ebersdorf forest and on the former parade ground in Ebersdorf. This will give participants in the excursion organised by the Environment Agency the opportunity to encounter and observe not only forest but also open land species.
The date is Sunday, 28 April, from 6 a.m. - the meeting point is on Max-Saupe-Straße in the car park of the Netto supermarket.

Under the guidance of experienced ornithologists from the Saxon Ornithologists' Association (VSO e. V.), participants will be led in small groups through the forest and across the former military site and made aware of bird calls and visual observations.
Anyone with binoculars and an identification book should bring them along. All interested parties are cordially invited to the excursion - participation is free of charge.
