The Environmental Agency invites you - Lecture on 23 January, 5 pm

This year's first lecture of the monthly events of the voluntary nature conservation service will take place on Tuesday, 23 January at 5 pm at the nature conservation station at Adelsbergstraße 192. Dr Winfried Nachtigall from the Neschwitz Bird Protection Station Association will be giving a talk on "Bird protection in Saxony". All nature conservation helpers and citizens interested in the topic are cordially invited. Admission is free.

In his lecture, Dr Winfried Nachtigall will give a general insight into the bird world of Saxony and identify problems and causes in species, habitats and population trends. The possibilities and limits of knowledge, assessments and actions will be demonstrated using selected in-depth topics, e.g. recording and counting methods, protected areas or problem areas in agriculture. He also talks about ways to actively protect birds yourself.
