On Friday, 2 November at 7 pm, interested parties are invited to the main building in the Botanical Garden. Jens Börner from the Chemnitz Environmental Agency will talk about "Bird conservation in Chemnitz - How can we help endangered bird species in the city". Admission is free.
What and how can a city like Chemnitz contribute to the protection of birdlife? Where can citizens actively help and what has been the focus of bird conservation in Chemnitz in recent decades?
These are some of the questions to which the lecture will provide answers.
The richly illustrated lecture, almost all of the photos were taken in Chemnitz, is intended to provide an overview of bird conservation in Chemnitz.
Of course, there will also be an opportunity to ask technical and legal questions.
