Bird and nature conservation in the garden
Adult education centre lecture on nesting aids, flower meadows and rhinoceros beetles
On Wednesday, 2 March 2016, Jens Börner, Head of Department of the Lower Nature Conservation Authority, will give a lecture on bird and nature conservation in the garden at 18:45 at the Adult Education Centre, Room 4.07, Moritzstraße 20. Near-natural gardens provide a habitat for native birds, insects and small mammals and delight people with their diversity. The lecture will provide examples and practical tips on how citizens can increase biodiversity in their gardens and create new habitats for rare animals in small spaces.
The event is a joint project between the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre and the Chemnitz Lower Nature Conservation Authority.
