"Big and small - we tune in" - Invitation to the Christmas concert of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School

The Chemnitz Municipal Music School cordially invites music lovers to this year's Christmas concert on the 2nd Sunday in Advent (7 December). The concert has the motto "Big and small - we tune in" and will take place in the small hall of the Chemnitz City Hall, starting at 4 pm. Head of the music school Nancy Gibson will open the concert with a welcoming address and is looking forward to welcoming many visitors: "Our Christmas concert has been a wonderful tradition for many years and is a firm fixture in Chemnitz's pre-Christmas musical life."

The 2014 Christmas concert will once again feature a musical programme and recitations of poems and letters to Father Christmas by the pupils of the Municipal Music School. Ulrike Gruner-Zaunick, piano teacher at the music school, is in charge of the preparation and organisation. The youngest pupils from the early music education programme, the classical ensembles and the RockPop formations are involved in the concert. The artistic and musical highlight of the concert will be the joint performance by the choir and orchestra of the Municipal Music School with excerpts from the children's musical "Krach bei Bach".

Tickets cost 10 euros for adults and 8 euros for children up to the age of 12 and can be purchased in advance from the Ticket Service.
