Bernsdorf indoor swimming pool reopens on 1 July
The Bernsdorf indoor swimming pool is expected to reopen on Tuesday, 1 July 2014. The pool had to be closed around a fortnight ago due to a technical defect in the filter system.
After refilling the filter and commissioning the entire water treatment system, including the dosing technology, as well as the necessary inspection of the bathing water by the health authority, the facility will reopen on 1 July.
The costs for the repair work, which was carried out by the Saxon company HPE Hydro Project Engineering GmbH and the Chemnitz-based companies Stahlbau Seidel and RRU Abfluss- und Kanalreinigung GmbH, totalled around 10,000 euros.
