Bernsdorf indoor swimming pool reopens for bathers on Monday
The maintenance, servicing and cleaning work in the Bernsdorf indoor swimming pool has been carried out since 22 October up to and including 4 November (PM 627 from 16.10.2012). The necessary grouting work in the swimming pool and around the pool was completed yesterday. The renewal of the rinsed joints in the tiling is necessary for reasons of hygiene and accident prevention.
During the two-week closure period, the companies commissioned by the sports office also carried out the prescribed inspections of the electrotechnical systems as well as the likewise prescribed maintenance of the dosing technology, which ensures a constant chlorine level in the water. In addition, the automatic door system was checked, thereby also fulfilling the prescribed inspection obligation. The basic cleaning and disinfection work planned for the entire indoor pool during the closure period will be completed on Sunday, 4 November.
The majority of the work carried out over the past two weeks can be carried out by the sports office with its own staff; only the inspection of the dosing technology and the repair of the pool grouting were carried out by authorised specialist companies.
Opening hours of the SH Bernsdorf (authorised for swimmers only):
Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for senior citizens and disabled swimmers and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.
