The playground on Berbisdorfer Kirchweg in Einsiedel (Berbisdorf district), part of which was renovated at the beginning of April, has been completed. The foundations of the play equipment have now hardened and the playground can be used again just in time for the week before Children's Day.
The swing was completely replaced after the wooden beams of the old swing set were no longer safe to use. A new additional climbing frame was also installed and the streetball hoop was replaced.
In this context, a border made of robinia wood and boulders was also erected. The facility was rounded off with the planting of individual shrubs.
The costs for the construction work totalled around 45,000 euros. The work was carried out by the company Reino GmbH from Geithain.
The civic involvement is particularly noteworthy here: the Berbisdorf e. V. association took on the refurbishment of the seating area, which had been badly damaged by vandalism. The association also refurbished the football pitch and sowed the grass.
This part of the football pitch will remain cordoned off until the grass has grown in and can withstand use. This will continue until the end of July.
