Being outside - my family and I in the city
Open-air gallery from 1 February to 26 March 2021
From 1 February to 26 March, the open-air gallery 2021 "Being outside - my family and I in the city" will take place. This campaign is a participatory event for facilities such as daycare centres, daycare centres and schools, or individuals. They are invited to present their own pictures or works of art in their own outdoor area, for example at the centre or on the garden fence. The aim is to set an example for children in the city.
Especially now, when the city's youngest children cannot regularly meet up with friends to play, learn and relax, the campaign aims to set an example for a peaceful and family-friendly Chemnitz.
The cooperation partners of the Local Alliance for Families, the Workers' Welfare Association, the City Sports Association, the Chamber of Industry and Crafts, the Technical University through the Family Service, solaris GmbH and the Children and Youth Officer, offer a wide range of activities as part of the "Prevention for a family-friendly Chemnitz" network.
The organisation team will provide attractive prizes free of charge for the participating institutions and families.
Due to the Corona Protection Ordinance, all works of art must be submitted to the institution without contact. As soon as the exhibition is complete and can be opened, the respective institutions will send feedback to: kinderbeauftragte(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
The organisation team will visit the exhibitions and participants will receive a surprise prize.
