Becoming a family sponsor or foster parent - a valuable social commitment
Adult education centre: Online lecture on 20 January, 6.45 to 8.15 pm
On Thursday, 20 January, from 6.45 to 8.15 pm, the adult education centre invites you to an online lecture. Qualified social worker/social pedagogue Angela Gomon-Voit will explain to interested parties how they can become family sponsors or foster parents.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is possible until 2 p.m. on the day of the event: either by telephone on 0371 488-4343 or by e-mail to info(at)vhs-chemnitz.de, quoting the course number W2117140. After registration, the access link will be sent by e-mail.
Individuals, couples or families who want to get involved with children in Chemnitz will receive comprehensive basic knowledge on the two topics of family sponsorship and foster parenting in this course.
What situation are the children in? What are the requirements for becoming a family sponsor or foster parent? Comprehensive information is provided on the respective steps to becoming a family sponsor or foster parent. Personal questions will also be answered.
The event is a co-operation between the Caritas Association for Chemnitz and the surrounding area and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
