Baumwollbaum am Brühl - the creative Christmas market
A cabaret market and a colourful programme with lots of music invite you to visit Chemnitz's Brühl Boulevard tomorrow, Saturday, from 11 a.m.
Tomorrow, Saturday 12 December, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., visitors are invited to the 5th Baumwollbaum on Chemnitz's Brühl Boulevard, a somewhat different, creative Christmas market for young and self-made designers, mini-brands, artists and craftspeople.
In addition to lots of creativity - to admire, buy and give away - and Christmas treats, exhibitors and visitors will also be offered a wide range of entertainment. There will be a musical programme throughout the day to get visitors in the mood for the festive season, with various local bands and the Volkssolidarität choir.
As in previous years, a large number of traders based on the Brühl will be taking part. For example, there will be a clothes roundabout at Brühlaffen, a cabaret and curiosity tombola at Spangel-Tangel and a Christmas whisky tasting at Inspire. Tour guide Grit Linke will be reading Christmas stories, while On-Hair and Red Lips will be showing off their hairdressing skills. Beate Grießbach from Konstantin-Mode presents a fashion show, the Hotel-Restaurant Sächsischer Hof and the Brühlaffe offer culinary delights. Children will be able to make lanterns followed by a parade and Father Christmas has also announced his visit.
The Baumwollbaum is organised by the Europäische Kunstgemeinschaft e.V.
