The association Mitteldeutsche Barockmusik in Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt und Thüringen e.V. (MBM) has been organising Days of Central German Baroque Music for 19 years under the motto "unMittelBARock!", which is held at a different location in the three federal states each year. Renowned musicians and ensembles will organise a total of 16 events over the four-day festival.
The festival, which is supported by the city of Chemnitz, is organised by the Central German Baroque Music Association in collaboration with numerous partners. The patron of the festival is the Mayor of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig.
