Bahnhofstraße: Markings for cycle path being applied
The temporary intermediate markings on Bahnhofstraße are currently being changed. The basic layout remains the same, but the extra-wide cycle lane is being reduced to the standard width so that the lanes for left-turners are wider again.
This will achieve better integration at the junction and the traffic routing will also be clearer. The new traffic routing will also be indicated by signs showing the lane layout. This regulation also takes account of the comments made by residents in recent weeks.
Originally, the final road markings were not due to be installed until April, but due to the good weather this has now been brought forward.
