Award ceremony for the "Take a seat!" project
Press invitation: 10 winners receive prize money to implement their ideas - on 16 August, 1 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, Town Hall
On Friday 16 August at 1 pm, Mayor Barbara Ludwig and members of Klub2025 will hand over 2025 euros each to the ten most popular projects from "Take a seat!" in the City Council Chamber of the Town Hall.
All project winners will briefly present their ideas once again and receive the prize money for their realisation.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
For "Nimm Platz!", Chemnitz residents were asked to develop creative ideas for unused areas in their neighbourhood. The ten most popular project proposals were selected in a vote in July and will now be honoured.
The original plan was to fund five projects. Thanks to Klub2025, an initiative of regional companies, chambers and credit institutions to support Chemnitz's bid to become European Capital of Culture 2025, a total of ten projects can now be realised.
