Joint vaccination centre: additional vaccination appointments on two Saturdays
The Joint Vaccination Centre of the City of Chemnitz and Chemnitz Hospital has extended its modified opening hours for the coronavirus and influenza vaccination season.
Until December, only vaccinations against influenza and booster vaccinations against SARS-CoV-2 will be carried out there. For other vaccinations, please contact your GP practice.
Additional vaccination appointments will be offered on the two Saturdays of 26 October and 16 November, both from 10 am to 2 pm. It is not necessary or possible to make an appointment for these two days. The closing time on these two days is 1.30 pm.
The vaccination centre is always open on Wednesdays from 2 pm to 6 pm (except on public holidays, 20 November).
Appointments at the vaccination centre are still possible for December. If you are interested, you are also welcome to enquire during opening hours without an appointment - however, there may be waiting times.
Appointments can be booked online at www.chemnitz.de/impfen or by dialling the government service number 115.
The Joint Vaccination Centre is located on the premises of Chemnitz Hospital in House 11 (Bürgerstraße 2).
Furthermore, since the end of September, the Office for Health and Prevention of the City of Chemnitz has published on the website of the City of Chemnitz those GP practices that also offer vaccinations to people who do not belong to the patient base of the respective practice.
