Attention young environmentalists!
City of Chemnitz announces environmental prize for children and young people
Over the next few days, the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency will be organising the annual environmental prize for children and young people. Posters with the necessary information will be sent to schools, kindergartens and youth centres, which will be publicly displayed in the facilities so that everyone can find out about the conditions of participation. Prizes in the various age categories, gifts and a great awards ceremony will once again be up for grabs in 2013.
With the Environmental Award, the City of Chemnitz's environmental department aims to encourage children and young people to engage with topics that will play an increasingly important role in their future. Children and young people can acquire knowledge and develop creativity and initiative. The environmental prize is awarded annually on the occasion of "Environment Day" in June. Chemnitz children and young people of all age groups up to 20 years can apply with their individual, group, class or school projects.
CVAG, eins energie in sachsen GmbH und Co KG, Südsachsen Wasser GmbH and the waste management and city cleaning company of the city of Chemnitz support the Chemnitz Environmental Award.
