Athletes sign the city's Golden Book
Honouring before the Chemnitz company run, 5 September, 5.30 p.m.
On Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. on the main stage of the Chemnitz Company Run, sportswomen and sportsmen from the city who achieved success during the European Championships in Berlin and Glasgow will sign the Golden Book in the presence of Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig. The City of Chemnitz also honours the medal winners of the Goalball World Championships, which took place from 3 to 9 June in Malmö, Sweden.
On Wednesday, Stefan Bötticher and Joachim Eilers from the Chemnitz Police Sports Club e.V., Kristin Gierisch from the Chemnitz Athletics Club e.V., Christina Schwanitz and Rebekka Haase from the Leichtathletik-Verein 90 Erzgebirge e.V. and the two goalball players Oliver Hörauf and Felix Rogge from the Behinderten- und Freizeitsportverein Ascota Chemnitz e.V. will be honoured on stage by the Lord Mayor.
