Assembly of the stadium roof now planned for Friday
The assembly of the grandstand roof of the south stand, which was scheduled to start at midday today, could not be completed as planned. The delivery of the necessary fasteners for the trapezoidal sheets did not arrive as planned. According to the supplier, these should arrive tomorrow. With such a short construction period and just-in-time deliveries, this unfortunately cannot be ruled out, according to the project management for the stadium remodelling.
The installation of the trapezoidal sheets with the organisation of all lifting equipment and aids is therefore scheduled for Friday morning for the south stand.
In addition, the safety nets are to be modified tomorrow so that the drainage connections originally planned can now be installed at the same time as the trapezoidal sheeting. With this measure, the goal remains to complete the roof installation by 14 September 2014 and thus by the home match against FC Hansa Rostock.
