ASR organises the return of the sandbags on site

Now that the water has receded, the clean-up work is in full swing. The sandbags that are no longer needed will be collected by the waste disposal and city cleaning company ASR from tomorrow. To this end, the ASR will be setting up containers at eleven locations until late afternoon tomorrow, where the filled sandbags can be deposited:

Einsiedel:

  • Einsiedler Hauptstraße 95a (fire station, citizen service centre)
  • Altenhainer Allee (retirement home)

Erfenschlag:

  • Dr Karl-Wolf-Straße (fire brigade)

Klaffenbach

  • Rödelwaldstraße 3 (fire brigade)
  • Würschnitztalstraße 65 (building yard)

Harthau

  • Klaffenbacher Straße 51 (garage complex)
  • Annaberger Straße 348 (Fahrzeughof & Reifenservice Uhlig)

Altchemnitz

  • Schulstraße (near house number 89)

Glösa/Draisdorf

  • Bornaer Straße 205 (fire brigade)
  • Blankenburgstraße 62 (ASR depot)

Röhrsdorf

  • LimbacherStraße 25a (fire brigade)

The soaked sandbags are not suitable for use in other flood areas such as the Elbe. The sand will then be made available to the civil engineering office for recycling. Only the sandbags should be placed in the containers. Flood victims can place bulky waste at the roadside as reported yesterday. In these areas, a bulky waste street collection will be organised by the ASR. If you have any questions, please contact customer services on 0371 4095-777.
