Art and cultural funding for organisations in Chemnitz
Applications must be submitted by 15 October or 1 November
Additional possibility of investment reinforcement funds for cultural institutions:
The Free State of Saxony has passed a special resolution on the 2015/2016 double budget to provide additional funding for cultural institutions. The Chemnitz cultural region will also benefit from the additional financial injection. Cultural institutions can submit applications for necessary investments or structural measures for the following year until15 October 2015.
Socio-cultural youth fund:
It is possible to submit an application for project funding for primarily new, innovative, contemporary youth culture projects or spontaneously developing socio-cultural projects for children and young people. Applications for 2016 can be submitted by 1 November 2015 at the latest. The funding guidelines and application forms can be viewed here:
The City of Chemnitz's Culture Committee makes the final decision on the allocation of funding on the basis of the funds actually available.
