Apprentices and students of the City of Chemnitz are given a ceremonial farewell

Invitation to the event on 30 September, 10 a.m. at LUXOR Chemnitz

On Friday, 30 September at 10 a.m., the trainees and students of the City of Chemnitz from the 2019 recruitment year will be given a ceremonial farewell by Mayor Ralph Burghart and in the presence of their trainers at LUXOR Chemnitz after successfully completing their training or studies. At the same time, the graduates will be welcomed as new employees of the City of Chemnitz.

The event will be accompanied by music from a young Ukrainian singer. She will be accompanied on the piano by Henrik Lehmann from the Municipal Music School.

Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.

As graduates of their respective training or degree programmes, the following will be bid farewell:

  • 15 Bachelor of Laws students, General Administration
  • 15 administrative assistants
  • four office management assistants
  • three gardeners
  • one specialist for media and information services, specialising in library services
  • two emergency paramedics
  • five Bachelor of Arts students specialising in social pedagogy

All 45 graduates were offered employment and continued employment with the City of Chemnitz. 42 trainees have accepted the offer and will be welcomed as employees of the City of Chemnitz.
