To shorten waiting times, citizens who wish to contact the registration office of the City of Chemnitz with a request can book an appointment in advance. Appointments can be made by dialling 115.
Appointments are only available for the registration office in the Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 09111 Chemnitz - for these matters:
Registration of residence when moving to Chemnitz and re-registration of residence within Chemnitz, application for identity card, passport and children's passport, application for a certificate of good conduct and application for an extract from the central trade register.
Appointments can be booked for the following times:
Monday: 8.30 am - 11.50 am
Tuesday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Thursday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Friday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.50 a.m.
Appointments are not available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
To ensure that the relevant employee of the registration office has sufficient time to deal with the matter in question, please state the services you require when booking an appointment. Please keep the agreed appointments, as the appointment will be cancelled if you are late. If an agreed appointment is no longer required, please cancel in good time so that the appointment can be re-allocated.
The service for making appointments via D 115 has been offered by the Citizens' Office of the City of Chemnitz since mid-July 2012.
