Registration office in the city's citizens' office has expanded its services

Since July, citizens have been using the extended service offered by the City of Chemnitz/Citizens' Registration Office and making an appointment in advance at the Registration Office in the Citizens' Registration Office of the City of Chemnitz by calling the authorities' telephone number 115.
Citizens can book appointments for the following matters at the Chemnitz registration office in the Bürgerhaus am Wall:

- Registration of residence when moving to Chemnitz
- Change of residence within Chemnitz
- Applying for an identity card
- Applying for a passport
- Applying for a child's passport
- Application for certificate of good conduct
- Application for an extract from the central trade register.

Appointments are only available for the registration office in the Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1, 09111 Chemnitz. Appointments can be booked for the following times:

Monday: 8:30 am - 11:50 am
Tuesday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Wednesday: no appointments available
Thursday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.50 p.m.
Friday: 8.30 a.m. - 11.50 a.m.
Saturday: no appointments available.

The agreed appointments should be kept, as the appointment will be cancelled if you are late. If an agreed appointment is no longer required, please cancel in good time.
