Application deadline for Stefan Heym Sponsorship Awards extended
Submissions possible until 30 June 2017
The application deadline for the Stefan Heym Sponsorship Prizes, which will be awarded for the first time in autumn, has been extended until 30 June 2017. In recent weeks, interested parties have contacted the city with questions about the application process and funding opportunities. The deadline extension is intended to give other interested parties the opportunity to concretise their ideas and projects and then submit the funding application. The Board of Trustees for the International Stefan Heym Prize will decide on the awarding of the sponsorship prize.
In addition to the International Stefan Heym Prize, the sponsorship awards totalling 20,000 euros are given to projects and initiatives in the areas of research and estate management, for scholarships and to support school projects that deal with the life and work of Stefan Heym in a special way.
All natural and legal persons, initiatives, institutions, private and public organisations and associations can apply for funding. Eligible projects must be realised in the period between two awards of the International Stefan Heym Prize. Applications for funding must include a description of the project to be funded (max. two pages in DIN A4 format) and a cost breakdown.
