Anniversary animal park festival on 15/16 June
At Chemnitz Zoo, everything revolves around the "55 years of Chemnitz Zoo" anniversary at the zoo festival on the weekend of 15/16 June from 10 am to 6 pm. This needs to be celebrated in style. An appropriate programme is provided. As a special promotion, all birthday children born in June 1964 (and can prove it) will have free admission to the zoo.
On the Radio Chemnitz stage, presenter Sandra Petzold will guide you through the day and will have many guests with her. Visitors young and old can look forward to interesting stories and interviews, dance, music, acrobatics, magic and clowning as well as animal fun, games and great prizes.
There will be various games, sports activities and craft stalls for children to take part in and win prizes throughout the zoo. There are also interesting things for older guests to discover at the zoo. On both days, for example, at 10.30 a.m. there will be an opportunity to take a look at certain areas and at 2 p.m. the armadillo weighing can be followed. Food and drink will also be provided.
