The Annenschule primary school will be relocated to Comeniusstrasse 1 at the start of the 2025/2026 school year. This was decided by the city council at its meeting on 13 November 2024 with the update of the school network planning for primary schools (B-033/2024). The temporary relocation to the "Südlicher Sonnenberg" primary school will therefore end at the end of the 2024/2025 school year.
From the coming school year 2025/2026, pupils will be taught in existing mobile classrooms located in the Jan Amos Comenius primary school building. They offer sufficient space and thus an optimal learning environment for the pupils of the Annenschule primary school. The leisure area of the future dual site has also been generously extended.
Both primary schools, the Annenschule primary school and the Jan Amos Comenius primary school, will remain independent and retain their respective school profiles and educational concepts.
Only the after-school care centre will be run jointly from the start of the 2025/2026 school year and will then cover both school buildings.
Parents will receive all school organisational information for the start of the 2025/2026 school year at Comeniusstrasse 1 from the respective schools.
