"Anna and Corona"
Chemnitz educator has written a children's story about Corona
The children's story "Anna and Corona" tells of the thoughts and worries of a little girl who asks many questions during the pandemic. The story was written by Heidrun Wolf, a nursery teacher in Chemnitz for 40 years.
Heidrun Wolf came up with the idea of writing this story because coronavirus was increasingly becoming a topic in morning rounds and other discussion groups at the daycare centre. Children could not imagine not being able to smell or even taste anything during and after an illness. One girl had heard a discussion about weekly markets on the car radio on the journey to the daycare centre and was now worried that coronavirus could affect the healthy fruit and vegetables. Some children had to go into quarantine. In the emergency care centre, the playmates from their own group with whom they used to play were missed. Later, children from Heidrun Wolf's group wished Father Christmas that there was no more coronavirus.

The brochure comprises 30 pages and has a format of 17 x 21 cm. 500 copies will be distributed to daycare centres and after-school care centres in Chemnitz.
