Animal park festival next weekend
Next weekend, 13 and 14 June, the traditional zoo festival will take place at the zoo from 10 am to 6 pm.
On the festival meadow there will be a bungee trampoline, bouncy castle, giant slide, tiger duck rodeo and goal wall shooting to let off steam and play. There will also be a colourful programme on the stage, including a magic programme for children, a juggler and dance and music performances. There are many activities in the zoo grounds, e.g. face painting, cow milking, a zoo quiz, a carousel and craft activities.
The zoo's support organisation, Tierparkfreunde Chemnitz e. V., is also represented with a wheel of fortune and information stand.
Of course, there will also be plenty to eat and drink.

09:00-19:00, last admission 18:00
Opening hours of the wildlife centre:
08:00 to 18:00
Please note: On Friday, 12 June, Chemnitz Zoo will close at 5 pm due to a charity event for chronically ill and disabled children and young people ("Dreamnight at the zoo"), last admission is 4 pm.
