An extra guided tour of the animal love life for Valentine's Day

Tomorrow (14 February), visitors are invited to Chemnitz Zoo for an extra guided tour to mark Valentine's Day: Under the (obvious) motto "The love life of animals", Dr Peggy Riedel, a vet in the team of staff at the facility, is inviting visitors on a 45-minute tour of the area on Nevoigtstraße. Anyone interested is cordially invited to purchase an admission ticket at the zoo ticket office, which includes the free Valentine's Day tour. The tour starts at 1 pm in the area behind the ticket office. A small request from the zoo: The time from today to tomorrow is a little short, but if possible, please call 0371/ 850028 to register for the extra guided tour.
During the winter holidays in Saxony, which begin on Monday (17 February), special guided tours will again be offered at Chemnitz Zoo, including the game enclosure: From 17 February to 2 March, there will be a short guided tour of the zoo grounds on Nevoigtstraße, each day at 11 a.m., focusing on a specific group of animals. Here is the first overview - the meeting point is on 17 February at the Tropical House, on 18 February at the Vivarium, on 19 February at the hoofed animals, on 20 February at the birds, on 21 February at the zoo.at the birds, on 21.0. at the marmosets, on 22.2. at another group of hoofed animals and on 23.2. at the Vivarium - to be continued.
The short guided tours of the zoo grounds, during which a zookeeper will be on hand to answer questions, start this coming weekend: They will visit the warm houses (on Saturday, 15 February in the Tropical House and on Sunday, 16 February in the Vivarium).
In the wildlife enclosure belonging to the zoo, show feedings take place from Monday to Friday at 11 a.m. and are also accompanied by an animal keeper: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays you can visit the lynxes and wolves, on Tuesdays and Thursdays the mouflons and wild boars.
