"Ambassador of enjoyment" training for educators, teachers and social pedagogues

"I can cook" - the largest nationwide initiative for practical nutritional education for nursery and primary school children is once again holding a free training course to become an ambassador of enjoyment at the adult education centre next Wednesday, 18 April.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend the practical cooking part in the cookery studio of the adult education centre (5.23.0) between 12 noon and 1 pm on the day of the event.
The training course qualifies educators, teachers and social pedagogues free of charge to offer cooking and nutrition courses, such as cookery clubs and project weeks, in their institutions. This one-day event enables educators to get children excited about cooking with fresh food from an early age and to promote their knowledge of a balanced diet.
The event was initiated by the non-profit Sarah Wiener Foundation and the health insurance company BARMER. The event is organised by the city's health department in cooperation with the adult education centre.
